he eleventh Big Brother Series, announced to be the last to be broadcasted on Channel 4 has been launched on 9th June 2010. This 2010 Big Brother series is produced by a division of Endemol which is an international Production Company Based in Netherlands and is sponsored by the skincare brand Freederm. The Big Brother 2010 will be telecasted throughout this summer by the channels C4 an E4 and you can have a 24 hour streaming through the Big Boss Website. The floral Theme eye Logo of the 2010 series, made of more than 100 flowers is said to be a tribute to the eleven year of this popular show.
The Big Brother House
The Big Brother House this year is the most luxurious and the least private of all. The theme this year surrounds over carnival and circus and all the rooms, kitchen and even the garden is brightly painted and has a touch of the theme. Images of birds, animals and clowns are scattered everywhere. And everything has a luxurious touch of its own. Even the bathroom of the 'House' boasts of luxury and comfort.
The format and the theme
The theme for this year's Big Brother is Carnival as was in the celebrity Big Brother 2010. The contestants of the show enter the house on day one and are not allowed to carry any means or communication, not even writing pads or anything which can be used for writing. They are not allowed, anything besides dresses, cosmetics and basic necessities and are not allowed to use branded items (until the brand name is covered), or any piece of luxury item. The contestant's bags will be scrutinized before they are delivered to the Big Brother House.
Even the food and alcohol supply is limited and a weekly shopping budget of £5 per head per day will be offered if the housemates win a task given by Big Brother. Or else they can only have a £1 per head shopping during the Thursday shopping for the week.
Like every year, the contestants will be given certain tasks to test them in emotional, physical and intellectual ways and are required to share the household chores like cooking and cleaning. The contestants should also stick to the rules laid by the game and in any case of breaking the rules, they might be warned, given punishment or even sent out of the House. The contestants are required to live peacefully with the fellow mates and prevent getting nominated for eviction from the house. Each week, on Friday one of the 2 housemate who were nominated by the fellow contestants gets evicted by public voting. And whoever remains till the end of the game is the winner and receives the cash prize of £800,000 which will be reduced by £500 for each rule broken by the winner. The last eviction is held live by Davina and the final winner announced before the viewers.
Big Brother Series 11 first nomination
The first nominees for eviction in chosen by the housemates of Season 11 are Shabby, Sunshine and Dave. The three nominees were given a chance to save themselves from getting evicted by winning the task which will be assigned to them by the Big Brother. The task assigned to these nominees was 'Hickory Dickory Dock' by which the nominees were made to carry large pieces of foam cheese across an assault course. Sunshine could not complete this task and Shabby took over three minutes to complete it. The winner of this task Dave, who completed the task in around a minute and a half, was given a chance to replace someone else instead of himself as the first nominee and Rachael White was chosen by him. These three housemates are waiting for the eviction result on Friday which will be based on the viewer's votes.
