West Caribbean Airways is an airline situated in Medellin, Colombia. It manages basically home services, with its key base at Olay Herrera Airport (EOH), Medellin. Owing to financial troubles following two collides in 2005 it ended process that September.
West Caribbean Airways was established in 1998 through Colombian entrepreneur Hassan Tanner and began procedures in 2000 which was found in San Andrés Island. A crowd of Medellin-based shareholders obtained the airline in 2001 and shifted the headquarters to Medellin.
West Caribbean Airways managed the subsequent services (at January 2005):
Armenia, Bogotá, Barranquilla, Caucasia, Cali, Cartagena, Chigorodó, El Barge, Cucuta, Otu, Medellin, Monteria, Providence, Quibdó, Puerto Barrio, Tulu San Andrés, and Turbo.
