Utah Transportation
Utah is known for one of its best public transport service. The Utah Transit Authority has its public transport plying throughout Wasatch Front of Utah. It has fixed route services of buses, ski buses, express buses, commuter rail line and three light rail lines. These ply between Salt Lake City to Pleasant View.
Utah Transportation
Utah TRAX
Most of the public transit in the city is managed and operated by Utah Transit Authority. Other than taking care of the bus facility, it also operates the TRAX light rail system. It has two lines, out of which one of it goes towards downtown south to Sandy while the second line goes towards the University of Utah.

Utah Streetcar Line
Many officials are trying to introduce the streetcar line. It is different from TRAX as it has low capacity and low speed. It is quite similar to Seattle’s South Lake union Streetcar and Portland Streetcar. It would run for about two miles south. It seems to be more convenient for many people.
Utah Air
The Salt Lake City has the Salt Lake City International Airport and is the main service for Delta Connection and Delta Air Lines. This airport has many domestic and international flights to different cities like Los Angeles, New York, Washington D.C, Tokyo, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, Mexico City and many more places. The regional airport is also known as the South Valley Regional Airport.
Utah Passenger Rail
The national passenger rail known as Amtrak provides an amazing service. It commutes from Salt Lake City which operates its California Zephyr that heads in two directions. This is between Chicago and Emeryville and all across from San Francisco.
Utah Taxi
There are three main taxicab services from Salt Lake City, Yellow Cab and City Cab. These three provide one of the best services to passengers and people traveling from far off places.
Utah MAX Buses
The first UTA’s Bus Rapid Transit line was for 3500 in Salt Lake County South. It starts from Magna goes all the way to West Valley City and finally reaches its destination Millcreek TRAX station. The construction of the MAX line in Utah is under planning.
Utah FrontLines 2015
The Mid0-Jordan TRAX Line
It runs from Murray, West Jordan, Midvale, and South Jordan and finally connects the Salt Lake City.
The West Valley City TRAX Line
It connects the South Salt Lake and the West Valley City.
The Draper TRAX Line
It expands TRAX service from Sandy and Draper.
Utah Airport TRAX Line
It starts from downtown Salt Lake and goes to Salt Lake City International Airport.
FrontRunner Provo to Salt Lake City Line
It expands the FrontRunner service from Provo and Salt Lake City.
Utah Major Routes
The UTA starts operating in Davis, Salt Lake, Tooele, Weber, Utah and Box Elder countries. It is very accessible from Brigham City that is in the north to Payson that lies in the south. It has a good service between all the major cities that starts from Grantsville that’s in the far west of the country.
