Tennessee Transportation

Tennessee is one of the States in the United States which is located in Southeastern United States. This State has approximately 6,214,888 of population making the State 17th largest State in population, which covers 42,169 square miles and making it the 36th largest by land area. Tennessee’s capital city is Nashville which is second largest. Memphis is the first largest city of Tennessee.

The main transportation of Tennessee‘s early history was water. As the years pass by Tennessee has all sorts of transportation comforting passengers.

Train Ride

Train ride is one of the best options to choose since we get to see the scenic views of the countryside. This ride is available year round with trips of one hour to few weeks. Train rides can be found online, in the phone book or by dropping in at tourist information centers.

There are two international airports in Tennessee

Nashville international airport

Memphis international airport has more cargo operations than any other airport. This airport provides immense amount of passenger flights. The other important airport in Tennessee is Nashville International airport.
