Rhode Island is the smallest state in the U.S. It is in the New England region of the United States. It has a one of the oldest history in the states of the United States of America. As it is one of the first few original colonies of which has got freedom from the British rule, the state is completely developed independently. Ironically it has become the last state to ratify as a part of the United States Constitution. It is nicknamed as the ‘Ocean State’, because of its various inlets and bays. Thanks to these bays it has been successful in entertaining visitors to the state over the years.

Roger Williams Park

It is one of the best places to go if you want to see the nature up close. It is a 430 acre Victorian era park. There are many animals which are present in this park. It is home to more than 1,500 animals which are 150 different species. It also has an in built planetarium and a Museum of Natural History. The Cormack Planetarium is one of the top attractions of the tourists.
