Etymology :

The country is the historical area and earlier principality in the Eastern Europe, which is corresponding to province among the River Dnister and Eastern Carpathians. A primary sovereign and the later self- governing state, exits from 14th century to the year 1859, when it was amalgamated with the Walachia as basis of the conventional Romanian state at many times, state consists of the areas of Bukovina and Bessarabia. Now the western part of the country is the part of Romania, eastern part is part of Moldova, whereas on the other hand the south- eastern and the northern are parts of the Ukraine.

History:

In the Antiquity the territory was populated by the Sarmatian and the Dacian tribes. Because of its tactical site on route among the Asia and the Europe, the country has faced many invasions, consists those by Huns, Magyars, Mongols, Bastarns and Kievan Rus. The country is unitary parliamentary representative democratic republic. The constitution of the country, adopted in the year 1994 sets framework for Moldova government. For adjusting the constitution, at least 2/3rd majority of the parliament members is needed. Moreover, the constitution of the country is not revised at the time of the national emergency or at the time of war, none of the revision is made that restricts fundamental rights that are enumerated in constitution.

The country enjoys the very good farmland and favorable climate but it does not have the chief mineral deposits. Therefore the economy of the country heavily depends on tobacco, featuring fruits, wine, vegetables and agriculture.

The country is landlocked and depends on road network and railroad for the business. The Soviet constructed railroads are of the civilized quality and they comprise of the 1,318 km of the tracks, 10,531 km of the roads which accounts to the 80% of the passenger travel and most of the local transport.

Education:

The education in the country is modeled on the pattern of education of the Soviet Union. Theeducation in the country is compulsory for period of 12 years from the age group of 6 to 17 years. The Romanian and the Russian are the significant medium of the instruction in schools. The countryconsists of the schools such as:
