Mississippi is a state near the famous river Mississippi and the name is also derived from the same. Originally the name was taken from Native American word “Ojibwe” that means great river. Most of its border is covered with Mississippi river mainly on western side, and on the south it has a small coastline with Gulf of Mexico. Mississippi Destination is heavily forested, it does not only have great rivers but also some major lakes and beautiful bays near the coastline. Jackson being the capital city is said to be the most populated city in the state is keenly known as the City with Soul. It is named after the US President Andrew Jackson and is said to be the home for many musicians. The zoo in the city has always proved to be delightful visit to all the adults as well as children for more than a century.

Hattiesburg is said to be Forrest country and has got a nickname of The Hub City. It has the biggest training base for National Guard. The most interesting fact of the place is that it is the birth place of Rock and Roll.
