Minnesota is the neighboring state of Michigan. It has recently become one of the most popular states in America thanks to its tourism. The majority of the population of the state is found in the twin cities which are Minneapolis – Saint Paul Metropolitan area. This has become one of the reasons why the rest of the state is not so affected by tourism. The culture in Minnesota is one of the nicest cultures you will come across anywhere in America. There is also a saying which says ‘you are being Minnesota nice’. The people in this state are very friendly who will take care of all the visitors to the state. Movies, food and music are the elements which you will find abundantly.

This is the craziest thing which you will ever witness in your whole lifetime. This prairie chicken is the weirdest bird statue anywhere in the world. This bird statue is located in Rothsay. If you want to ever imagine how birds on other planets look then you need to take a look at this creature. This bird is a solid 13 feet tall. You can picnic and have some chicken under this giant chicken with your family.
St. Urho is another giant statue which is termed as the grasshopper chaser. This statue can be found in Menahga. The statue stands about 12 feet tall on the Highway 71. This statue was made by Jerry Ward who was a chainsaw sculptor. The statue which is now seen is a replica of the original piece. The replicas are made of fiberglass where as the original is made of laminated oak which weighs one ton. The description of the statue can be given in this way; it is of a 12 foot tall man holding a form which is stuck into a giant grasshopper.
Bemidji is the hometown of the sizzling 1940s actress Jane Russell. Here is where you will be finding the Bunyan and Babe statues. Over the years people came to know this town because of these statues. Paul is an overly broad shouldered 18 foot tall boxy man who weighs around 2.5 tons. He was showed to the world in the month of January 1937. In 1939 his companion Babe joined him. Babe is a blue ox which went around in the carnival and was on the go for quite some time before it settled beside Paul.

This will be another bizarre sight for those who are visiting Minnesota. In the city of Darwin you will see the world’s biggest twine ball. Francis A. Johnson was the reason behind this twine ball. He used to roll a twine ball 4 hours every day religiously and ultimately made his life goal to make the world’s biggest twine ball. After 29 years of tremendous effort he has successfully achieved his life goal which is now put for public display.
Ed’s museum is one another of those weird places which you would love to be in. There were two major projects which were taken up in this place. First was messing it up and then cleaning it up. Julius Krugear was the one who was responsible for making it messy and the all the women of Wykoff cleaned it. He spent 50 years of his life living like a slob and his place was later cleaned by the women of the progress club in Wykoff. So you want to know how messy he was go and check it out.
