Mexicana Airlines History

Compañía Mexicana de Aviación, S.A. de C.V., generally known as Mexicana. It was initial airline which was set up in Mexico and country's standard carrier. Today, besides household services, it is considered the country’s leading international airline in conditions of the most passengers’ transportation, working services to Central America, North America, Europe and South America. Its main center is Mexico City's Benito Juarez International Airport, with minor centers at Guadalajara's Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport and Cancun International Airport.

Mexicana's major participant is Aero Mexico, even though 2 companies "code-share" on various routes and was combined for extra than a period of ten years. It’s global’s 3rd oldest airline and North America’s oldest airline working under the similar name, following Australia's Qantas and the Netherlands' KLM.
The airline is supposed to join one world on November 10, 2009.
