Places to Visit in Mecca

The Umrah Pilgrimage

This is also pilgrimage of Muslims where they have to come at any time in their life. Here Muslims have to follow strict rules like tawaf (which means circling around the KAABA), sa’i (which means forth seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwah, located in the Al-Masjid al-Ahram), halq (which means men’s should shave off their heads), and taqsir (which means women Muslims should cut a part of their hair).

The Well of ZamZam

This well is situated at Masjid al Haram which is said that drinking its water is blessed in rituals.

Mina

This is also a holy place in Mecca where Muslims come to offer their prayers after going to Al Arafa.

Other places are Gates of the Holy Mosque, Hira Cave, Grand Mosque (Masjid Al Haram), Al Kiswah Factory, Thour Mountain, Al Jaáranah Mosque.
