Kansas is one of the states of United States of America. It is the city of Great Plains and is nicknamed as the Heart of America as geographically it is situated in the center of the country. Kansas Destination is also surnamed as the Sunflower State. The people residing in Kansas Destination are called the people from the south wind as the name of the land means. The surface area of the state is quiet large, approximately 213, 283 km square. The capital city of Kansas is Topeka. Wichita is the city of Kansas that is highly populated when compared to the other city of Kansas.

Kansas is one of the most important agricultural states of United States of America. It is named as the first wheat producer of the country. The soil of the Kansas is very fertile and keeps some major oil reserves within it along with some important gas and rock salt. The industrial sector of Kansas is covered by machine tools and airplanes. It has around 9 commercial airports that are open for almost all private airplanes.

Native Americans who have been living in Kansas for more than thousands of years claim that the first Europeans visited the city in early 1600 and most of the communities in the state date back from the mid of 1880s. Though the real development of the city have started from the year 1850s, when some pro slavers had been residing in the city and new antislavery settlers have been flowing into the area. This period of the state has indulged a lot of violence and it turned out to be a cradle for civil war.

The city is also famous for the annual state fair which brings in lot of tourist for just this special event. The Underground State Salt Museums is the only museum in the entire North America which is built 650 feet below the ground.
  • Kansas is also a home of Wizard of Oz and because of it friendly, healthy, joyful and peaceful atmospheres the tourist gets attracted and visits the same for more fun and enjoyment.
