Northern Honshu & Hokkaido

A place called Furano is known for is summer flower fields and winter ski. In the winter tourist would love to watch th outstanding phenomenon which is the dancing crane and the monkeys who are bathing in the hot springs.

Kyoto, Nara & Osaka

This is very appealing place for tourist because of their unique contribution in the history of Japan, they are situated in the Kansai are in the central part of Honshu. This place was founded in AD 794. They have the Golden Pavilion, the splendid Kiyomizu Temple, villa of Katsura and Shugakuin. They also have the Nijo Castle, Heian Shrine, and the Sanjusangendo Temple where Buddhist treasure are located. Kyoto has the 3 major cultural events that is held every summer; it is called the Aoi, Gion, and Jidai Festivals. An hour ride from South Kyoto is Nara, this is the capital of Japan in the 8th century AD. They have the Kasuga Shrine and Kofukuji Temple.


This is popular for the Byodoin Temple they have the Japan's ¥10 coin. Mount Koya, it is 2 hours away from Osaka, the pilgrims and tourist would be welcomed by the temples and monasteries in Mount Koya. Western Honshu

The Western Honshu will be the place for the lovers in sea coastlines named Inland Sea Coast and Japan Sea Coast. They have the Himeji Castle popularly knows as the White Heron Castle.
