FedEx Express is one of the famous airlines in US. FedEx Express is a Cargo airline. It is mainly based in Memphis, Tennessee and USA. FedEx Express was established in 1971 as “Federal Express”. The main founders are Fred Smith in Little Rock, Arkansas. In the year of 1973 April it started the overnight operations with 14 Dassault Falcon 20s that providing the services to twenty-five cities in the United States. In the year 1975, FedEx express installed its first drop box. After this installation of drop box FedEx express getting profits. In 1997, Public Law Act 95-163 cancelled the restrictions on the routes operated by all cargo airlines. Then FedEx express purchased 7 large aircrafts called Boeing 727 and providing the services. - On July 31, 1997 - Flight 14, N611FE, a McDonnell Douglas MD-11 was crashed during landing at Newark International Airport.
- On July 26, 2002 - Flight 1478, N497FE, a Boeing 727-200 was crashed, it's went in to tree line
- On December 18, 2003 - Flight 647, N364FE, a McDonnell Douglas MD-10-10 was ran off the runway at Memphis International Airport
