The Cosmopolitan is a resort Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas. The resort opened in December 2010 with a total project cost of $ 3.9 billion. The hotel is located just south of Bellagio on the west side of the Las Vegas Strip. The hotel can be easily identified with its two high rise towers. During construction stage, the Cosmopolitan faces several financial issues but was finally opened in 2010. The Cosmopolitan hotel has been ranked number 1 in best new hotels -2011 list.
The Cosmopolitan has 2995 rooms, a 75000 Square feet casino, 300000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 40000 square feet of spa and fitness facility, 150000 square feet of meeting and convention space and 1800 seat theatre. It has partnership with Marriott International Autograph collection and Ritz-Carlton. The pools in The Cosmopolitan are based on three different themes- Relaxing pool, day club pool and nightclub pool. The hotel-casino also boasts of world class spa and saloon along with other shopping and concierge services. It also serves as a paradise for art lovers with several exhibitions under its roof. All the rooms have a terrace view to offer the guests bliss while staying at the resort.
The Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas has several celebrity chefs and various restaurants to boast of. Some of them being Bruce and Eric Broomberg’s Blue Ribbon, David Myer’s Comme Ca, Jose Andres’ China Pablano and Scott Conant’s Scarpetta. Other Restaurants includes DOCG, a restaurant and Wine bar by Scott Conant, Holstein, a speciality burger restaurants and STK, steakhouse By Todd Miller along with The Henry, Va Benne Cafe and The wicked Spoon. It provides complimentary breakfast for international guests for all types’ room bookings.
