Condoleezza Rice was the 66th United States Secretary of State during the presidential tenure of George W. Bush. She was the 1st and only African American woman to serve at the post of Secretary of State and 2nd African American succeeding Colin Powell to serve at that post which puts her on the list of prominent citizens ofColorado.
