Hyannis Air Service, Inc., in use as Cape Air, is an airline branch at the Barnstable Municipal Airport in Barnstable, Massachusetts, United States. History of Cape Air

The airline was established in 1989 through corporation pilot Dan Wolf and some of his fast friends. In the beginning Cape Air flew among Boston and Provincetown in Massachusetts.Services in Caribbean and Florida were affixed in late 1990s, and service in Micronesia was inaugurated in 2004. In the year of 1994, NantucketAirlines and Cape Air combined and now proffer hourly flights amid Hyannis and Nantucket.

In late 2007, the airline started an innovative round of development in Midwest and Northeast. On 1st November, 2007, the airline started service between Rutland, Vermont, and Boston with three regular round excursions. The direction is sponsored through US Govt under Essential Air Service (EAS) program.

And with the support of Govt grant, the Cape Air prolonged into Indiana on 13th November, 2007, providing air travels from Indianapolis to Evansville and also South Bend.
