Angkor Wat

The Angkor Wat (Cambodia) is a splendid temple complex built by Suryavarman II of the Khmer dynasty in the 12th century. It is spread over an area of 1.5 square kilometers and is the largest building in Angkor, the erstwhile capital of the Khmers. The Khmer empire reigned from the 9th to the 12th century. This temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu.

Weather and Climate :

Cambodia is situated in the tropical region. Being close to the equator, it has a warm climate. During the day, the average temperature is 27° C which lowers to around 15° C in the night. Monsoon rainfall occurs from the months of May to October. The days are usually clear and sunny from November to April.
