The Wimbledon Tennis 2017 is played on grass courts. Considered as the oldest and the most prestigious tennis tournament in the world. The tournament is organized by the All England Club in London since 1877 and one of the major tennis tournaments in the world. The only tournament played on grass from its beginning. The first ever game was Men's singles and which was own by Spencer Gore. The Wimbledon champion is the tournament where the sponsors add boards are not displayed and the court has an empty side in the tournament.

The Champions Charity Grants

The Wimbledon foundation controls an important program of accord to charity. Each year the foundation comes up with a new idea for a foundation and fund raising for the local charities. The idea that was implemented with the banking partner HSBC was a Wimbledon's unique ticket resale scheme, whereby the spectators who are leaving the show who no longer wish to continue watching the Championship matches are put to a re-sale to other spectators in the ground. The following raised amount will be donated to the local charity groups.

Wimbledon Tennis Championships

The 2017 Wimbledon Championship is the 131st tennis event which takes part on outdoor grass courts and is the third Grand Slam which starts from Jul 3– Jul 16, 2017 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. Wimbledon prize money will rise to 40 percent in this year – this is the bigger prize money than other grand slam tournaments this year.

Wimbledon is one of major Grand Slam tennis tournament held all over the globe. It's the world's biggest and most important tennis tournament. Games will be played on grass surface and there's an austere white dress code for players.

The event attracts over 500,000 audience and more TV spectators worldwide.

All through the first week, the Singles and Doubles matches will be played and top seed may play on Centre Court and Courts 1 and 2. The Men's and Ladies' Singles Finals matches will take place on last weekend of the tournament.

Advance tickets for Wimbledon are payable via a public ballot, which was initially founded in 1924. As the ballot is oversubscribed frequently, so tickets are  not being entitled for the entry.

In 2014 Men singles for 3-hour epic there was tough competition between Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic. Andy Murray was winner in previous tournament, who has strong goal to achieve this title and his drive is still ongoing.
