Vietnam History
The early history of Vetnam goes way back to the Paleolithic Times. Numerous archeological sites also give evidence to the fact that this place was inhabited very long ago. The ancientPhung-nguyen denotes the dawn of the Vietnam civilization. People started living here beside the valleys of the Ma and Red river, even in the Bronze Age. Various bronze weapons and such other tools of the Dongsonian sites have a clear Southeast Asian influence which also indicates the origin of the primeval bronze-casting skill. This region at different times was mainly ruled by various Chinese dynasties and empires. During the Tran dynasty, the Mongols invasion occurred and then the Le Thanh dynasty ruled over this country for a couple of centuries. These dynasties have long histories that in all have made the history of Vietnam. The history of the Mac dynasty is also quite fascinating and full of happenings. But one of the most important rulers of this nation was undoubtedly the Nguyen Dynesty. In the 19th century, France took control over Vietnam and finally the British came.
