The term ‘Venezuela’ has arrived from the name of the great cartographer Amerigo Vespucci and Alonso de Ojeda, who with each other explored this region during 1499. History tells us that the initial inhabitants of this region had started coming here around 15, 000 years ago. That was the time when this place became a crucial spot for exporting various drug-substances all across this region of the globe.
