Sweden has a prehistoric past which starts from the late 12,000 BC this period is marked with the hunters-gatherers and fishers who uses flint technology. In 400 BC Sweden is marked with the Nordic Bronze age. The third phase that is the period of 1700 BC is marked with the bronze imports from the European countries. The Nordic Bronze age is regarded as Pre-Urban age when the people have started to live in single storied wooden long houses.

- Cuisines – Sweden also have the common thing like all the other Scandinavian countries that all the cuisines are simple. Potatoes, fish and meat are the most common part of almost every food in Sweden. Akvavit is the most famous distilled alcoholic drink. Drinking of snaps and Akvavit is the part of the culture.
