2011 South Asian Winter Games

The South Asian Winter Games 2011 are going to be held in Dehradun and Auli, situated in the Himalayan state, Uttarakhand. The Indian Olympic Association and the Winter Games Federation of India are going to conduct the Games this year. The opening ceremony is going to inaugurate the Games on 10th January 2011, while there will be a grand closing ceremony on 16th January in Auli and Dehradun.

January 10th to 12th will see the skiing events happening at Auli in Chamoli district while ice-skating and ice hockey will be held at Dehradun from January 14th to 16th.
