The country is officially known as the Republic of Seychelles. It is the archipelago nation which consists of the 115 islands Indian Ocean, which is situated at the distance of 1,500 km in east mainland of Africa and in the northeast of Madagascar Island. History:

The explorer of the Portuguese Vasco da Gama discovered Islands of the Seychelles in the year 1502. In the year 1609, the English expedition visited the islands. The name of the island is derived from Vicomte des Seychelles; the Louis XV’s who the finance minister was. In the year 1756, firstly the French claimed the islands, but the colonization of it was not started till 1768, when party of the 22 Frenchmen arrived and also brought the large number of the slaves with them.
