Officially Serbia is known as Republic of Serbia. Serbia is the landlocked country which is situated in the southeastern and central Europe. The country has covered the Pannonian Plain in southern part and to the Haemus in central part. The parliament of Federal Republic of Yugoslavia decided weaker form of the cooperation among Montenegro and Serbia with confederal state known as the Montenegro and Serbia on 4th February 2003. After ousting of the Slobodan Milosevic on 5th October 2000, the Serbia was governed by Democratic Opposition of Serbia.

Serbia Culture:

The country is the most culturally varied in the countries in the entire Europe. In the year 2006, the Foreign Direct Investment was $5.85 billion and the FDI has reached to $ 4.2 million in the year 2007, whereas the GDP per capita accounts are projected to reach $6600 in the year 2007.

Infrastructure of Serbia:

The infrastructure of the country is the most contemporary infrastructure in entire continent of the Europe. The infrastructure of the country is developing quickly with changing times and economic, transportation and educational system is going by massive metamorphosis. The infrastructure of the country is been developing because of the booming economy in country.

Education in Serbia:

The education in the country starts from elementary schools or pre- schools. The children enroll in school at the age of 6 or 7 and lasts in 8 years. The secondary schools in the country are divided in 3 stages and the children are allowed to attend according to their choice. The 3 stages of the secondary schools are:

  • Professional Schools
  • Vocational Schools

The institutions of the tertiary level also accept students on the base of high school grades and also on the results of the entrance exams.
