Previous medals for Romania -Romania, till the last Olympic Games, has won 81 Gold, 88 Silver and 111 Bronze medals in the summer Olympics and they have also won a Bronze medal in the Winter Olympics. Romania History and Etymology-The term ‘Romania’ has probably come from the Latin word called ‘Romanus’. Romania was inhabited by probably the most ancient modern human races. These people actually represent a blend of the archaic and early modern human having Neanderthal morphological features. The mention of the early inhabitants of this country can also be found in the great historical work by Herodotus in his book-IV. Trade policies taken by the Romanian government suits well with the world-economy policies. But this nation still maintains a big trade deficit. Economic growth rate of the year 2007 was quite good for Romania and the amount was near about 15.5 billion euros.
