Rogers Cup Tennis 2016

Rogers Cup Tennis is a professional tennis tournament organized by Tennis Canada with presenting partner National Bank. The tournament is a part of both Men and Women’s game which were established in the 1881 and 1892. The Rogers Cup is the longest standing tournament after the Wimbledon and US Open. It is a Premier 5 event tournament on the WTA Calendar with winning points of 1000 for Men's individuals and 900 points for the Women winners. The Rogers Cup tennis will be played on outdoor hard courts and a part of Canadian Open, ATP World Tour Masters 1000 and WTA Premier 5 tournaments.

The tournament is scheduled to take place at Montreal, Canada for Men and Toronto, Canada for Women. But the events dates are the same for both starting from August 10th to 16th of August.

The Prize money for the Rogers Cup 2015 is 3 Million US dollars as the winner of Men’s final takes $598,900 and the Women winner takes home $441,000. Please check the Rogers Cup Prize table for the breakdown of prize money in the tournament for each individual's.

News: This would be a big blow for the tournament audience presence with miss out of Roger Federer from the tournament. The rest of the top 17 rankers are in the single’s main draw entrants.

Title Sponsor Rogers, Presenting Sponsor National Bank and the other sponsors of the tournament are Aviva, Emirates, IRIS, Mazda, redtag.ca, Ontario, Cisco, WTA sponsors Willson, Xerox and USANA.
