Malaysian Grand Prix is a motor car and motorcycle racing championship. In the year 1999, they were commenced to participate first time in the “Formula One World Championship”. The present Grand Prix is held at “Sepang International Circuit” in Sepang, Malaysia. The “FIA” has accepted the permission to start racing in Malaysia since 1960’s. After 2011 the racing name has converted into “Malaysian Grand Prix”.
In 1962-1965, the Formula2 Grand Prix had been held on Thomson Road Circuit at Singapore is the first precedence of Malaysian Grand Prix. As Singapore is also a member of Malaysian federation from 1963-65. After that Singapore had separated from the federation in 1965 and Grand Prix has been continued until 1973.
While separating of Singapore from Malaysia is the opening for sepang circuit. After that Malaysia hosted many races from the own circuit of “Shah Alam’s” between “1968-1995”. During in this circuit Malaysia hosted much series such as:
These races are conducted at day and nights. The night racing of Malaysia Grand Prix was started from 2009 they are aiming to become Formula One‘s Second Night racing after Singapore. Malaysian Grand Prix had experienced a great deal of actions on or off track. The races are creating full of furnace heat, so the audience are fully excited about the races and couldn't even take a turn from watching the race. It adds an extra spice to the race.
These races are conducted at a circuit of length of 5-10km. There would be minimum 56 laps. These races can be viewed by the audience while sitting at circuit grandstand, and the sitting has different categories to watch the races. Those are general categories, VIP categories, corporate suites etc.

Malaysian Grand Prix will begin from 30 September till the final race on 2nd October, 2016. Considered as the second racing event and grand prix tournament of the year 2016 after Australian Rolex Grand Prix. The ultra modern Sepang International Formula One Racing Circuit will host the eleventh Grand Prix in Malaysia.

The race begins with a practice session on the 30 September, Qualifying session on the 1st October and with the final race on the 2nd October which is on Sunday. Before commencing the final race the teams will organize the autograph and parade session. The Grand Prix consists of a 56 lap session.

The prize money would be distributed based on the rankings achieved at the end of the season race. As the top three teams would be rewarded with the major shares and carrying the Ferrari share with a 3.5% yearly to its contribution in participating.
