Officially the country is known as the Republic of Panama. The country is located on Isthmus. Some of the people categorize the country as the transcontinental nation which isconnecting the south and north part of the America. The country is bordered in north- west by Costa Rica, in north by Caribbean Sea, in south by Pacific Ocean and in south-east and in south-east by Colombia.
