The country Nepal is officially known as Republic of Nepal or Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. Nepal is the landlocked country which is situated in the South Asia. Nepal is surrounded by India in east, south and west and by China in north. The mountain rangeHimalayas runs across country’s western and northern parts. Etymology of Nepal: History of Nepal:In the 12th century, the leaders were raising whose names ends with Sanskrit suffix malla. The Neolithic tools that were found in valley of Kathmandu indicated that the peoples are living in the region of Himalayas from 9,000 years ago. It is also appeared that the people who are of Kirant civilization are living in the country from at least 2,500 years. Newar community is affluent in the cultural diversity, the community celebrates the number of festivals and this community is also known well for their dance and music. Economy of Nepal:In the year 2005, the GDP of the country was US$39 billion, which makes it as the 83rd largest economy in the entire world. The agriculture in the country is near about 40% of the country’s GDP, industry comprises of the 22% and the services comprise of the 41%, the service employs the 18% of the workforce, craft and manufacturing based industries employs 6% and agriculture 76%. Infrastructure of Nepal:The country’s foreign and the planner’s aid donors viewed establishment of infrastructure as fundamental for the success of the economic development of the country. The 5 years plans prioritized communications and the transportation, but though the results were important, they remain insufficient. Currently, the country adopted the policy of open- sky and also permitting the private airlines for operating the international and national services. The currency of the country is different from srilankan, Indian and Pakistani rupee.
