Major League Lacrosse (MLL) is a Men’s game which is held in between 8 teams in the United States. MLL is a half professional league, in this the annual salaries of a players range from $10,000 - $25,000. This MLL was founded in 1999. The fans of this game is around 6,356 were attended during the game in 2013.

The founders of this MLL were Jake Steinfeld, Dave Morrow and Tim Robertson during the year of 1998. From then the game continues to play regular season in 2001 June. Steinfeld is good in creating the Body fitness and line of exercise equipment and making of videos. Morrow was an old player of All-America lacrosse and now he is the president of warrior sports.

The game was actually divided into two divisions and having sub teams. They are:

American Division

  • Bridgeport
  • Long Island

National Division

  • Baltimore
  • New Jersey
  • Rochester

The game has been done with the teams above mentioned from 2001 to 2005. The MLL played 14 games in the starting of the two years upto 2003, after then the season was cut to 12 games upto 2011. As on December 9, 2010 the commissioner David Gross announced that there will be an extension of 2 teams in the next season of 2011 and also the extension will continues for the next season 2013 by two teams. As of 2020 the total MLL teams will be 18, to start a season.
