Most popularly memorized as one half of "The Woodies", a doubles partnership with Todd Woodbridge as they won together 61 matches. But Mark Woodforde alone achieved 67 in his career.

Mark Woodforde a retired professional tennis player from Australia was born in Adelaide and Tour in 1984 he joined the men's professional tennis ATP.

AWARDS

Woodforde achieved four singles titles along with his hometown Adelaide tournament twice.

Woodforde also captured twelve Grand Slam doubles titles in his career which includes , two Australian Opens, one French Openthree U.S. Opens, and a record six Wimbledons.

He also caputured the 1989 U.S. Open doubles with John McEnroe partnership.

He was awarded with gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, and a silver medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

He also achieved five Grand Slam mixed doubles titles - two Australian Opens, one U.S. Open, one French Open and one Wimbledon.
