Etymology:
The name of the country is derived from the black fertile soil which is deposited by floods of Nile, which is different from the red land or the deshret of desert. The official modern and the Arabic name of the country is Semitic origin which cognate directly with the other words of the Semitic for the country as the Hebrew which generally means two straits.
History:
