The Western and Southern Open Tennis firstly called as Cincinnati Open in the year 1899. The changes of the tournament name took place till the early 2002 and then later with sponsorship from Western and Southern Financial Group which continued till the current tournament.

The Western & Southern Open Tennis 2015 so called as the Cincinnati Masters is an outdoor hard court play as a part of Men’s and Women’s Tennis Tournament. The Western and Southern Men’s Open tournament is considered to be a part of ATP World Tour Masters 1000 and Women’s Open as WTA Premier 5 which are included as 2015 ATP World Tour and 2015 WTA tour.

The annual tournament is held at Linder Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio, United States. The top 16 seeds of the ATP Singles are into the main entrants.

Roger Federer from single’s men and Serena Williams from Women’s single’s will be defending their 2014 Western and Southern Open Tennis title in the Hard court for the year 2015.

Prize money:

Winners of the Men’s singles will be given $638,850 dollars and the Women’s Single’s title winners will receive a total of $467,300 with a total prize money of the Western and Southern Open Men’s singles and doubles Tennis is 3.2 Million US dollars and 2 million dollars from WTA for the Women’s Singles and Doubles.

Considered to be the second largest summer tournament before US Open. The Schedule of Play begins with First round of the tournament on 17th August and ends up with Singles title finals on 23rd August.

The Title Sponsors for the tournament Western & Southern Financial Group, UC Health, Emirates, American Express, Xerox, Visit Florida, Mercedes-Benz and Citizen.
