The History of Australian Grand Prix:
When Formula One arrived to Australia in 1985 it built home in Adelaide. On the other hand, ex-racer-turned-entrepreneur Bob Jane sought a race in Melbourne. He shaped a huge "thunderdome" and made-up the AUSCAR series, carrying NASCAR deed to Australia.
The ambition to have a race in Melbourne did not vanish. In spite of the fashionable end of time niche for the Adelaide race, stress was rising from the Melbourne Motor sport Community, and in 1992 Jeff Kennett was voted the new leader of the State of Victoria. He directly set about civilizing Melbourne's side view. First on his file was the Australian Grand Prix.
The Circuit Development in Australian Grand Prix:
A deal was attained with Formula One in 1993, but the agreement with Adelaide did not terminate until 1995, so Kennett had copiousness of time to practice. A track was widened in Melbourne's attractive Albert Park, part of it utilizing closed-off civic roads, and in 1996 the metropolis detained the first round of the World finals. After that, the location has become the home of Formula One's season opener. The race is extremely trendy with drivers and fans in a similar way, and the party environment of Melbourne maintains them returning year following year.
The Scope of the Australian Grand Prix Circuit:
There are 58 Laps in the Circuit. The Track length is 5.303 km. The distance of the Race is 307.574 km. The Record Time of the Lap is 1:24.125 finished by Michael Schumacher in 2004.
The ING Australian Grand Prix Formula One Race will be commenced on Sunday, 15th March, 2009. |
