On World Psoriasis Day, awareness activities like campaigns, discussion and conferences will occur around the world to increase understanding about Psoriasis and providing platform to psoriasis communities to come together.
- To create awareness: to make every one aware about this devastating skin disease.
-To access to improve treatment: to encourage healthcare systems, governments and physicians to allow psoriasis people access to optimum therapy
-To increase understanding: to provide information to those who are suffering from this condition so that they can discuss it more freely and confidently.
-To build unity among the psoriasis community: to raise awareness of a condition that need to be taken seriously by national and international authorities.
Every year on 29th October, the International Federation of Psoriasis Association (IFPA) and its members associations perform activities around the world to create awareness about psoriasis and give them the attention and consideration they deserve. Through IFPA, it becomes possible to spread the message on an international level and create awareness for both psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis. IFPA help psoriasis associations to campaign or raise voice on behalf of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis people.
IFPA members are psoriasis organizations from different countries, they meet regularly to discuss and to collaborate important issues affecting the psoriasis community of the world.
