This festival is annually held on July 23rd - 29th, 2016 in Kent, England. The main focus is food and drinks – with a lot of family style entertainment and art thrown in.
This Festival is best known for its great food and most of all, oysters. Besides food, Whitstable is a great place to experience traditions and customs unique to the area – served up of course, with alcohol and entertainment.
On the first day, visitors can wander through the area which has all kinds of arts, crafts and even exhibits in galleries. Stop and enjoy all the street entertainment with real funny storytellers and clowns. Also make sure to catch the Landing of the Oysters parade and ceremony.
