What is United Nations Day?

United Nations Day has been marked all the way through of the meetings, discussions and exhibitions on the achievements and goals of the United Nations Charter. The General Assembly of the United States has taken for consideration for the Day to be observed as a public holiday. The United Nations General Assembly announced in 1971 that 24 October should be the anniversary of the Charter of the United Nations.  

What is the importance of United Nations Day?

The United Nations entered into the full force of its strength on 24 October 1945. This date has been commemorating as the United Nations Day since 1948. This day is devoted to make know the people of the world about the aims and achievements of the United Nations. The United States wants support from the world for the motto of the day.
