Purim is celebrated on the 14th day of the month of Adar which is according to the Jewish calendar. According to the Gregorian calendar, Purim falls in the month of February or March. The celebrations start around sunset.

Purim is a well known Jewish festival as they celebrate their existences in a foreign land. On this day children listen to the Megilla and short stories of Queen Esther who helped to stop Haman’s plans. Graggers, who are Purim Noisemakers drown the villain’s names in the story.
