When Is Holy Saturday

When is Holy Saturday Celebrated?

The day after Good Friday is when Holy Saturday is celebrated. Holy Saturday is the last day of Holy Week, and the day before Easter in which Christians prepare for Easter. Holy Saturday remembers the day when Jesus Christ's body lay in the tomb.

History of the Holy Saturday:

On Holy Saturday in the earliest days there was no special celebration, excluding possibly anticipation of the all-night Paschal Vigil. Finally this emphasis on formulation for the great Vigil turned more emphasized.
