When is Halloween Celebrated?

Halloween is a holiday which is celebrated on October 31, which normally admits activities such as trick-or-treating, carving jack-o'-lanterns, playing pranks, attending costume parties, carving bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, watching horror movies and listening scary stories.

History of Halloween:

Researching the origin of Halloween, historian Nicholas Rogers mentions that while few folklorists have discovered its origin in the Roman feast of Pomona, fruits and seeds Goddess, Parentalia and the festival of dead, it is generally linked to the Celtic festival of Samhain,  whose main spelling was Samuin. From the Old Irish, the name is derived and means "summer's end" roughly.
