About Citizenship Day

Citizenship Day is also known as Constitution Day. This day is an American Federal Observance day that celebrates the formation of the American Constitution. It also celebrates the new American Citizens. It is celebrated on 17th September of every year. In 1787, the U.S. Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution to get its own constitutional rule. This day was given as an official holiday in 2004. It was since then that this day was recognized as Constitution Day.

Promotion and awareness is spread in schools and colleges about the constitutional law that will help the students grow to responsible citizens of the country. Free copies of US Constitution are distributed all across the country
