The important Passover tradition is the Passover meal known as Seder. On the first night of the (Passover) Pesach holiday is known as 'Bedikat chametz' and the food is removal of chametz or leavened food, Matzoh and other al foods made from matzoh are made during this pesach holiday. On Pesach occasion the Jewish family’s go through the traditions and history by studying the stories of the Israelite exodus from Egypt as told in the Book of Exodus, the Haggadah and has the customs of Afikomen or the dessert matzoh in variation.

In Most of the families, children’s steals' the afikomen and put out of sight of the parents to find by them and earns a prize in return and if parents can't find some others find it and some time parents hide the afikomen from the children look for it at the end of the meal. The child, who finds it, gets the reward. The important of Passover Seder Plate or table containing 'Karpas' or the green, and wine ,'Maror' or bitter herbs and 'Charoset' or a coarse-textured dish of chopped fruits, nuts, 'Z'roa' or the shank bone of the Paschal lamb, leafy vegetable dipped in salt water, and 'Beitzah' or the roasted egg.

The Four Sons, who were Wise, Wicked, Simple and Young respectively is most interesting story of pesach and these sons are representative of the four types of Jews and their attitude towards their religion. The Wise son referred to the Jews who are observant and the Wicked son represents the Jews who are not respectful to their heritage and religion and reject them altogether and Simple son is the one who is indifferent to all the religious activities and do not even try to understand them while the Young one represents the Jews who are ignorant of their culture and traditions.
