Labor Day is a federal holiday of United States America. Labour Day in USA is celebrated on the first Monday in September. In 1882, the Central Labor Union of New York has commenced the holiday. The Central Labour Union wanted to make "a day off for the working people". The American Congress announced that ‘Labor Day’ is a federal holiday on June 28, 1894. After two months, ‘Labour Day’ called the ‘May Day Riots’ of 1894. All the states of U.S.A. celebrated that ‘Labor Day’ is a national holiday.
