The Doppler radars are the indicators of severe thunderstorms. Severe thunderstorms will leads to dangerous hails or high winds which produces large damage.

Severe Thunderstorms leads to harmful wind over and above 60 mph.

Dr. Bobby Lewis, the track’s medical director, describe the minor injuries, “Mostly bumps, bruises, contusions and possible fractures.” Brad Keselowski and Dale Earnhardt Jr. were involved in this crash. The incident occurred at the ending line of the final lap. Carl Edwards and Keselowski were paced quickly than Ryan Newman and Earnhardt. Carl Edwards tried to obstruct the Keselowski’s car. When Carl Edwards’ car was flicked on Newman’s car and dashed into the protective fence. Keselowski tactically escaped from the Edward’s car crash and won the race.

Carl Edwards was jumped from the car window and run away across the finish line after his car spinning. Kelelowski says after winning the race at Talladega, “If we would have run all races without a single lap of contact, everyone in the media center would have wrote about how boring of a race it was, and instead we ran one of the best races you could ever watch on TV with full contact the whole time. World Values Survey People are Happier

People contentment hunters have done it yet again. They have used armed forces of pollsters and a mountain of data to find out the world's happiest countries. But this year, there are some unpredicted winners—for surprising reasons.

The World Values Survey, which has compiled information from 350,000 people in 97 countries since 1981, found Denmark to be abode to the planet's most satisfied citizens (again) with Zimbabwe as the most miserable (again). The World Values Survey, on the other hand, which has been gathering data for 27 years running, aims to determine "subjective well-being" through qualitative assess of peoples' happiness and life approval. It employs just two crucial questions, which have never altered: "How would you rate your happiness?" and "How satisfied are you with your life these days?"

Dramatic Mood Shift

This year, the analysts were dazed by their findings. Reported happiness had in fact risen in 40 countries and decreased in presently to 12. Inglehart, who has been occupied in this study for 20 years, says the consequences defied conservative wisdom on the matter of happiness, which has held that levels stay more or less static. "We knew it couldn't happen," he says. "I said to myself, 'Do I dare report this?'".

Inglehart’s team figured it desired a better enlightenment for the data. "Most of the earlier studies, including my own, were based on economic factors, which are something you can simply pull off a bookshelf and look up," he says. "If that's all you look at, then that's all you find."
What the survey found this year is that freedom of choice and social recognition are the most powerful forces at the rear national moods. "Money's pretty powerful, but it's not the whole story," says Inglehart, though he maintains that a strong connection still exists between high standards of living and happiness measures.

It's Not Just About Money

Generally, a rising global sense of freedom in the preceding quarter-century has eclipsed the giving of pure economic growth to happiness, he says. This is mainly evident in developed countries with sturdy economies, where the freedom of choice gained all the way through wealth has made people happier—not necessarily the wealth itself.

What's more, "there are diminishing returns to economic progress," Inglehart says. In inferior countries, happiness can be linked to commonality among tight-knit communities, religious confidence, and loyalty, which probably explains the happiness of some moderately poor Latin American countries, he says.

Social tolerance is a new significant factor in how happy a country toll itself. Over the last quarter-century, rising gender equality and acceptance of minorities and homosexuals has played a key role in those European countries start to be the most content. No. 7-ranked Switzerland, for instance, has elected two women as top of state in the last 10 years, while No. 4-ranked Iceland has lately passed laws guaranteeing nearly all the same rights to gay couples that married couples enjoy. "The less threatened people feel, the more tolerant they are," says Inglehart. Tolerance simply has a rippling result that makes people more contented.

Gratitude Improves Attitude

While Inglehart does not own to know the true secrets of happiness, he says that this most recent reading has made the picture a bit clearer. In his opinion, generosity and terms of gratitude appear to be subtle but powerful ways to bring happiness into one's life and to extend it. Religion and solidarity in the society play a huge role in this, he says, but any positive belief system can help. "Latin America seems to understand this," he says. "In the old days I would have told you to work hard and save your money," says Inglehart. "It's different today. I just haven't nailed it

NEWS: Terrorist Attacks on Sri Lanka Cricket Player in Lahore 2009 March 3rd; Sri Lankan Cricket Team was Attacked by the Militants

Tuesday 03, Lahore: The Sri Lankan cricket team was attacked by the militants in Lahore on March 3, 2009.

The Sri Lankan Cricket Team traveled in a bus to go to Gadafi Stadium for the day 3rd, in Second Test. There are 12 militants attacked on the bus with the guns, rocket launchers and grenades. The militants was wore the masks on their faces. They were traveled in rickshaws to that point. They threw the grenades on the bus. The front part of the bus was damaged. The incident happened near Gadafi Stadium in Pakistan since that morning.

The driver Khalil Ahmed is carrying the bus of the Sri Lankan team. They reached the city's Liberty Roundabout when he drove the bus slowly. Just then a rocket was attacked by the militants on the bus, but it is missed. Immediately, a militant has thrown the grenade, but it is failed. And afterwards, the vehicles were explosion at, before Mr. Ahmed was driven off at top speed of the bus.

At least 8 members of the Sri Lankan Team were injured, 6 policemen and 2 citizens were died. The Sri Lankan Cricketers Kumar Sangakkara, Thilan Samaraweera, Ajantha Mendis, Mahela Jayawardene, Chaminda Vaas and Taranga Paranavitana injured to bullet wounds. The Sri Lankan Team Manager Brendon Kuruppu, the Assistant Coach Paul Farbrace (England) were also injured in the incident.

Umpires Simon Taufel and Steve Davis both were safe in this incident. And the match referee Chris Broad was also safe. The reserve umpire Ahsan Raza’s condition is critical in this incident.

The Pakistan Prime Minister Asif Ali Jardari is called for inquiry for the incident. He thinks that it is ‘security failure’ caused for the attack.

The Tourney was cancelled and the Sri Lankan Cricket Team will return to home. The Sri Lankan President, Mahindra Rajapakse arranged a flight for the Sri Lankan Team from Pakistan.
