International Jazz day is celebrated on 30th April every year around the world. The Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz was the major promoter of the events with the UNESCO. Millions of people engage in the celebrations of the events and contribute their work. At many places different award ceremonies are organized to encourage the jazz players in their specific domain. Governments are promoting the day by extending the support in all respect. They have advised in all the schools and colleges to come up with innovative ideas to celebrate the big event.
