Doctor frank Stanton was the man most influential person in the television history. His death at his house of Boston made the executive people of the field of the American television industry to have a great set back. he along with his boss William paley turned the Colombia broadcasting system and also run the most effective radio network of it's time. Stanton and his books get along nicely which astonished the competing world.
Paley used to provide the shape to the programs that are to be aired and Stanton used to look after the news and articulate and later on Stanton became the spokesman for the industry. He was born on 20th march 1908 in Muskegon, Michigan. His father was a teacher in the school who teaches the student the art of woodwork and mechanical skills as well. His father used to tell him about radio engineering. This made the interest of young frank abuse toward the radio technology.
Doctor frank Stanton completed his bachelors in zoology and Psychology but find it hard to get the job in the field. For the sake of job he persuaded he doctorate in psychology. During this phase of his life he invented a device that can be installed in the radio and recorded the show what the listeners are tuned into. Stanton also faced struggle against the government in the year 1971 on parallel to print press rights. The controversy echoed in the pentagon as well. A CBS report that made the government to shook from the roots was the documentary that showed the face of the government that a large amount of government fund was spending in promoting militarism.
On this Stanton was given the threat of jail but he didn’t give a notice to it and stick to his will. Later on in his life Stanton served as the president of the CBS between 1946-1971. And after this he also served the CBs as vice president since 1973. However his main interest lead him to be the chairman of the CBS but along with it he also served as the changed as the chairman of the Rand Corporation. He died on the 24th December on 2006. The radio industry remembered the wit of this man fro long and the radio federation every year will remember him.
