Erich Fromm is the man who has gained the worldwide reorganization because of the psychological works done. Erich is known for the applaud able work that he done in the field of the psychology. However he also gain acceptance through the critical theory with which he linked for long time. Erich was born on March 23. 1900 however Erich started his studies in the year 1918 from the university if Frankfurt from where he did two semester of jurisprudence.
However later on in his studies he shifted his attention from jurisprudence to sociology under Alfred Weber Erich received his PhD degree in the year 1922 from the Heildelberg University. In the year 1950 Erich moved to the Mexico City where he turned to professor in the UNAM. And there he established a psychoanalytic section. He retired in the year 1965 till his retirement he teached there. He along with his psychological work he also wrote some of the great book related to his interest. Erich Fromm's birthday is celebrated one among the Famous birthdays in march, on that day birthday gifts, birthday cards, pictures of Erich Fromm are distributed or supplies among the school children.
One of his famous works is Escape from Freedom, which mainly deals with the idea of men to reacxh for a source, and freedom that ultimately is a true urge or desire of human being. In his books and the works that he published he postulated five basic needs that a human being urges for. One of them is relatedness with others, which mainly comes from care, respect, knowledge, and relationship with others. The second basic need that he postulated was that Transcendence, which mainly deals out with the creativity and the ability to make an interesting life.
 The third basic needs, which Erich postulated in is, rooted ness, which can be seen when a men fights for his belongings either a car or anything. However the postulated things given by Erich have gained acceptance worldwide. Another postulation that Erich postulated is the sense of identity which can seen in every man and almost common and can be easily observed and the postulation made by Erich was a frame of orientation which deals with the sense that a person known the world and he can understand his place in society. Erich contributed in many ways and he died on 18th march in 1980 at the age of 79.
