Ella Wheeler Wilcox is a well known Poet and Mystic Rosicrucian. Her profuse experience lays in her optimistic and positive nature. Ella had started writing poems at a very early age and continued to do the same till her death. Wilcox poems always reflected her optimistic nature, her belief and hope that one day good will take over the evil. Ella Wheeler Wilcox was born in the year 1950 in a small rural town called Johnstown, Wisconsin. Wheeler had three siblings and he was the youngest among them. Ella showed her knack for creative writing at a very tender age. When she was 8 years old, Ella wrote her first poem and as she entered the age 14, a piece of prose writer by Wheeler was published in the New York Mercury. Ella became the pride of not only her parents but her neighbourhood too. Ella’s passion for writing made her leave her studies. Like other writers Ella too struggled, though she used to pen down number of poems but only few of them used to be published. But Ella never loosed hope her optimist nature never let her get away from the path of struggle. Ella continued writing poems and sending them to the publisher in the hope of that one of them would publish her works.  

Ella got married to Robert Wilcox at the age of 28. Robert became an inspiration for Ella and he loved her work more than anything. The couple had a son but he died at an early age. Ella and Robert successfully celebrated 30 years of their marriage and in 1916 Robert died and Ella was left all alone sad and heartbroken. In 1919 Ella was diagnosed with cancer which was a cause of her death.
