Sean Kingston Biography

Sean Kingston, real name Kisean Anderson, is a reggae singer and rapper from Jamaica, United States. Sean Kingston came on this earth on February 3, 1990, in Miami, Florida. Sean Kingston family shifted to Kingston, Jamaica, in Sean Kingston early childhood. Sean Kingston changed his name from Kisean Anderson to Sean Kingston to pay his tribute to his city.

Sean Kingston Career in Music

Sean Kingston released his first single album, named Beautiful Girls, in the year 2007. The album was released under the collaboration of two companies, Epic Records and Koch Records respectively. The song in the album was inspired by a hit song ‘Stand by Me’ sung by Ben E. King in 1961. The song was a chart buster on the US Billboard Hot 100 and had maintained number one position for three weeks continuously. It was the chartbuster on UK Singles chart also.

Another song, Me Love, had been taken from the loose derivative work of Led Zeppelin’s "D'yer Mak'er", released in the year 1973. ‘Me Love’ was the huge hit in Australia and had replaced the number one position of Fergie from the Singles chart. Fergie lost number one position after retaining it for nine weeks continuously.

With this, the song was quiet popular on the Canadian Hot 100 as it retained the number one position their for six weeks continuosly. On the other hand, ‘Beautiful Girls’ was the number one position holder song for longest period than any other song released in the year 2007 on the Canadian Charts.
