Frank lampard who is an English football midfielder was born on 20 June 1978 in Romford, London. Frank lampard full name is Frank James Lampard Jr. His father was known by the name Frank Lampard Sr. who was also a former FA Cup winner with the West Ham United.

Frank lampard’s whole family was into the football career. His uncle Harry Red Knapp is a coach and his cousin Jamie Red Knapp also has a record of earning 17 caps for England before retiring in 2005. Also Frank lampard spent twelve years in Liverpool.

Frank completed his studies in Brentwood School in Essex. Frank lampard was good in his studies and gained A * in his Latin GCSE.

Frank lampard started his career as a novice in July 1994 by joining West Ham, where his father was the assistant coach. In 1995 Frank lampard became professional and was loaned to Division Two team and Swansea City. Frank lampard scored his first goal in a game against Brighton and Hove Albion. In January 1996, before returning to West Ham Frank lampard made nine league appearances for Swansea City with whom Frank lampard played his first match at the end of the month and spent the rest of the season as a reserve.

After thirteen appearances due to his broken leg the game against Aston Villa put an end to Lampard's 1996–97 seasons. In 1997-1998 campaign Frank lampard scores his first goal for West Ham. After that in 1998-99 Frank lampard became a starter in every match and as a result of which West Ham stands fifth in the Premier League standings.

In 2004-05 Frank lampard played all the thirty eight Premiership matches and won the first major trophy of his career. As Chelsea was eliminated by the Liverpool in the Champions League Semifinals they took home the Football League Cup in which Frank lampard scored twice in six matches. Frank lampard was also awarded by the award named the FWA Footballer of the Year.

In September 2005 Frank lampard was selected as a member of the inaugural FIFPro World XI. Due to illness on 28 December 2005 Frank lampard ended his record of consecutive Premiership appearances at 164 when Frank lampard sat out a match against Manchester City.

In 2007-08 Lampard played only 24 matches due to his injury. Frank lampard scored 100 goals for the club in a 3-1 FA Cup fifth round against Huddersfield Town and became the eighth Chelsea player. On 30 April, Lampard, lost his mother and even after that Frank lampard decided to play in the second leg of Chelsea's Champions League semifinal against Liverpool but due to the penalty Frank lampard lost that match by 4-3.

Lampard signed a new 5-year contract with Chelsea comprises of £39.2 million on 13 August 2008 due to which Frank lampard became the highest-paid Premiership player. In his first eleven league matches Frank lampard scored five goals in 2008-09 seasons and scored his hundredth career Premiership goal in a 5-0 victory against Sunderland. In October Frank lampard was declared as the Premier League Player of the Month for the third time.

Frank lampard was first come into limelight by England U-21 manager Peter Taylor in a match against Greece. From November 1997 to June 2000 Frank lampard played for the U-21s and scored nine goals.

In October 1999 Frank lampard earned his first cap for England in a 2-1 win over Belgium and scored his first goal in August 2003 in a 3-1 defeat of Croatia. Frank lampard participated in his first international competition in Euro 2004. In 2004 and 2005 Frank lampard was nominated as the England Player of the Year.

In 2006 World Cup the team England was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Portugal due to the penalties. In Euro 2008 qualifying match against Estonia England failed to qualify for the tournament.

Frank lampard is married to the Spanish fiancee Elen Rives and after that they live in Surrey with their two children, Luna and Isla who was born after some hours when Chelsea won the 2007 FA Cup. In august 2006 his autobiography Totally Frank was also published. Frank lampard is also the supporter of the Conservative Party.
